Time Tool
How to use
What it does
Collects the time-related maths you keep needing in one place: countdowns, a world timezone comparison, Unix timestamp and date conversion, and the gap between two dates. Use it to pin down a meeting across timezones, decode timestamps found in logs, or work out how many days remain until a date. Everything runs against your machine clock and the browser timezone.
How to use it
Tabs across the top switch between the countdown, timezone, timestamp and date-difference panels. In the countdown panel set a target moment to start ticking; in the timezone panel pick two cities to compare their current time; the timestamp panel toggles between seconds and milliseconds; the date panel takes a start and end date and reports the day count.
FAQ
Are my custom countdowns kept?
Yes - the ones you add are saved in local storage; only the built-in defaults are excluded from saving.
What panels does it have?
Four: countdown, timezone comparison, Unix timestamp conversion and date-difference calculation.
