QR Code Generator
How to use
What it does
Turns text, a URL or a short message into a QR code image. You can adjust the size, error-correction level and foreground and background colours; a higher correction level survives more damage or partial coverage at the cost of a denser pattern. The generated image is downloadable, and everything runs locally in your browser with nothing uploaded. A second tab generates Code128 barcodes.
How to use it
Paste the content you want to encode and the code redraws live. Use the controls below to change size, error-correction level and the two colours — a dark foreground on a light background scans most reliably. When you are satisfied, download the image or copy the data address to embed in a document or page.
FAQ
Which error-correction level should I pick?
Higher levels survive more damage or partial covering but render a denser pattern; level M is a good default for on-screen use.
Do the colours matter for scanning?
Yes - a dark foreground on a light background scans most reliably, and many readers reject inverted codes.
