Pet Toolkit
How to use
What it does
A few practical pet conversions: convert a cat's or dog's age into roughly the human equivalent, estimate a suitable daily feeding amount from body weight and activity level, and generate batches of candidate names when you need to name a pet. The age and feeding figures rest on common rule-of-thumb formulas, and breed and individual variation is large, so treat them as guidance only.
How to use it
Switch between the three modules at the top. Age conversion starts by choosing cat or dog, then takes the real age and reports an approximate human equivalent with the rule it used; the feeding estimator wants weight, life stage and activity level, and can display in grams or cups; the name generator can restrict length and style and whether to include both Chinese and English forms, producing a batch per click with favourites ticked to keep.
FAQ
How accurate are the age and feeding numbers?
Both rest on rule-of-thumb formulas, and breed, build and individual variation is large — treat them as ballpark figures. For health decisions such as switching food or a weight plan, defer to your vet.
Can I keep names I like from the generator?
Yes. Each click produces a batch under your length, style and language constraints, and ticked favourites stay kept as you generate more, so you can build a shortlist before deciding.
