How to use
What it does
Keeps the significant dates in a life together: live countdowns to birthdays, anniversaries, exams or a first day at work; exact age in years, months and days; a timeline of life stages by age band; and lookups for the date ranges of Chinese zodiac signs and Western star signs. Useful for planning ahead for an anniversary or seeing how long until the next big date.
How to use it
Switch modules at the top. Add an event name and target date in the countdown panel to see the remaining days, hours, minutes and seconds; the age tool takes a birth date and reports years down to the day along with days lived; the stage timeline marks where you currently sit; the zodiac panel takes a date and returns the sign plus its neighbouring start and end boundaries. Data is stored locally in your browser.
FAQ
How precise is the age calculation?
Years, months and days, plus the total number of days lived — so you can find out how many days old you are without handling leap years and month lengths yourself.
How are the Chinese zodiac and star sign determined?
By different rules: the star sign comes from your birth month and day, the zodiac from the birth year. The panel also returns the start and end dates of the neighbouring boundaries, which settles birthdays that fall on a borderline.
Do my countdown events sync across devices?
No. Data is stored locally in the browser, so events need re-adding on a new device and are lost if browser data is cleared — keep a separate note of important anniversaries.
