Snake
How to play
Gameplay
Snake. The snake moves continuously, eating food adds a segment to its body and nudges the speed up, and hitting a wall or your own tail ends the run. The hard part is space management: the longer you get, the fewer routes remain open, which is why high scores come from coiling the snake into a tidy shape early rather than chasing food at random.
Controls
Turn with the arrow keys or W A S D, or swipe on a touch screen. Reversing directly is not allowed, so leave room before turning. The current length and best score are shown above, with pause and restart buttons on screen.
FAQ
Does the snake speed up?
Yes - every piece of food adds a segment and nudges the speed up, so late-game runs get tighter until a mistake ends them.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes - swipe in the direction you want to turn; on a keyboard use the arrow keys or WASD. Direct reversal is never allowed.
