How to play
Gameplay
Go, with full capture rules and simplified life-and-death evaluation. Stones are placed on intersections, and any group left with no liberties is lifted off the board. Territory is scored from the empty points each side surrounds at the end, which is why positional choices usually matter more than any single capture.
Controls
Click an intersection to place a stone; groups you surround are removed automatically. You can pass when you have nothing useful to play — once both sides pass in a row, the game scores and the interface reports each side's territory and the result.
FAQ
Can I play Go against the computer?
No - this is a two-player game on one screen: Black and White take turns tapping the 9x9 board. Captures, suicide and ko are enforced, and two consecutive passes end the game.
What happens when the 30-second blitz timer runs out?
The player whose turn it was loses on time, so the opponent wins immediately. The timer restarts after every move and pass, and the badge turns red with 5 seconds left.
