How to play
Gameplay
A deckbuilding battler. Each turn grants a fixed number of action points to spend on attack, block and buff cards. Unused block is discarded when the turn ends, so defence needs to match the damage the enemy will actually deal rather than being piled up indiscriminately. Winning a fight lets you add one of several offered cards to your deck, which makes it stronger over time — though stuffing in too many weak cards slows the whole cycle down.
Controls
Click a card in hand to select it, then click a target to resolve it, with action points and energy shown below. End turn hands over to the enemy, and a card choice appears after each victory. The enemy's intent and predicted damage for the turn are displayed on the right, which is what tells you how much block to hold back.
FAQ
Does Block carry over to the next turn?
No - leftover Block is discarded when your new turn starts, and the enemy hits for a flat 9 damage reduced by whatever Block you had. Attack cards always deal their value plus Strength.
What do Buff cards do?
Each Buff permanently adds to your Strength, and every Attack card you play afterwards deals its printed value plus that Strength for the rest of the run. The starting deck has only one Buff card.
