Catan Builder
How to play
Gameplay
A simplified solo take on Catan. Rolling for resources determines what you gain that turn, and resources are spent on roads, settlements and cities, each worth a different number of victory points. Upgrading a settlement to a city substantially raises the output of its tile, so the early game is a trade-off between spreading out and deepening what you already hold.
Controls
Press roll to collect resources, then pick road, settlement or city from the build panel and click a legal position on the board. Options you cannot afford are greyed out, and the side panel shows your victory points and resource totals. Reaching the target score wins.
FAQ
Does the game remember my best result?
Yes - your fewest-rounds win is saved in the browser's local storage and shown as a badge; a win in fewer rounds replaces it. Losses are never recorded.
What happens when a 7 is rolled?
No resources are produced; instead the robber steals one random resource from the opponent's hand - or from yours when the AI rolls it. If the victim has nothing, nothing is stolen.
