Battleship
How to play
Gameplay
Each side hides a fleet inside its own grid, and the winner is whoever sinks the opponent's ships first. Two boards are on screen: your own layout and the enemy waters. Every shot reports only hit or miss, so the remaining hulls have to be narrowed down by elimination rather than by seeing them.
Controls
Place your ships on the left board first, rotating them as needed, then press start. During play, click a cell on the right board to fire. Hits are marked red and misses grey, then the computer fires back. Turns alternate until one fleet is gone.
FAQ
Can I place my own ships in Battleship?
No - both fleets are placed randomly when a game starts, so every round is a fresh layout. You only choose where to fire; your own ships stay visible on the left grid.
Does the Battleship AI hunt my ships after a hit?
No - it fires at random coordinates and only skips squares it has already shot at. It never uses hit information to aim, so it will not chase a half-damaged ship.
